   Today's civil engineer uses every advantage to meet the demands of their profession. That's why ASCE pioneers new programs, policies, educational activities, and professional resources to help them successfully compete in their business. That's why today's civil engineer has a home at ASCE.

The Chicago Metropolitan Chapter is the oldest and one of the largest, most active Chapters in the Association. The Chapter boundaries encompass the northeastern part of the State of Illinois and include 8 counties in the region; Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Lake, McHenry and Will. Currently, the Chapter has five Branches; Suburban, Lake, Fox Valley, Southwest and Chicago. The Chapter was originally formed as The Chicago Chapter, but with the formation of its first Branch in 1967, it became the Chicago Metropolitan Chapter or more commonly known as Chicago Metro.  Our engineers and business development team are active members and currently helping organize events for the APWA.  We have 3 active members in the Chicago Metro Chapter each serving on committees.

 The Society for Marketing Professional Services is a not-for-profit organization established to promote research and education that advances the body of knowledge in the field of professional services marketing and develops a greater understanding of the role and value of marketing in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) industry.  Kudrna & Associates joined SMPS in January 2007 as a means to network and learn about our industry.
