Kudrna & Associates, Ltd., was retained by the Chicago Department of Sewers to provide engineering services on a Task Order basis. Services included: reports, recommendations, inspections, studies, field surveys and field checking, collection of utility data through the Board of Underground and other agencies, alignment studies, preliminary plans, final design and contract plans; preparation of proposal pages and special provisions for Part 1 Specifications; estimates of construction costs and time; geotechnical investigations, including soil boring and pavement sampling, and preparation of a geotechnical report.
Combined Sewer Relief, Village of Franklin Park

Kudrna & Associates was the prime engineering consultant (design and construction management) for a 3-Phase, 7-Contract sewer and drainage improvement project consisting of three major sewer lines serving a residential and commercial/industrial area of about three square miles. The total length of 8-inch to 132-inch sewers is about 12 miles and included junction chambers. The completed project provides flooding benefits throughout the area, with ultimate connection to the TARP. Auxiliary benefits included pavement reconstruction and new water mains.
